The Studio CL

• Artur Kirsh, who has worked with beauty powerhouse John Sahag in New York City, has earned a reputation as one of the nation’s premier stylists, not only for his expert technique precise cuts and color, but also for his unique vision and skill. In addition to styling some of Philadelphia’s finest; Kirsh has also had the opportunity to work with such celebrities as: Celine Dion, Kathy Griffin and Patricia Wexler, M.D., who People Magazine refers to as “the secret weapon for celebrities and socialites.” Throughout his career, Kirsh has continued to follow his mission, which is not to follow the trend, but to lead by example. To help grow, change and make a difference in someone’s overall self image.

• Alexey Kats is a senior stylist and creative director at the studio, he has worked as a platform educator for companies such as Goldwell and Sahag. While working on many of the city’s fashion shows he has also worked on feature films and produced and contributed to photo shoots for magazines, universities, boutiques and TV anchors. He designed his own line of cutting tools and educates both hairdressers and clients on hair-cutting and styling. In addition to doing custom color and Keratin treatments,  Alexey has been perfecting his dry-cutting technique for years and considers haircutting a form of sculpture.

 

• Tonia Day is a lead stylist at the studio, who is known for her passion, creativity, discipline, and ambition. A composite role model, she influences the success of those around her by providing them with the tools, confidence, and real-world expertise that keeps her craft on the cutting edge of the salon industry. Tonia joined the Studio CL team in 2005, where she had the opportunity to train under Artur Kirsh. Her work has been featured in magazines, television, and on the runway.

  

 

The Workshop

 

 • Lauren Garrett joined The Studio CL team in 2007.  After extensive training under Artur and the Studio educational team, she has refined her cutting, coloring and her very artistic up-styling skills. She has traveled along the east coast doing numerous models for fashion shows and shoots.  Lauren is on her way to making Philadelphia a beautiful city.

 

• Lara Moskalets started her hairdressing career in Kiev, Ukraine.  She moved to the states and worked in a few different salons until she found her home At The Studio CL, in the heart of Rittenhouse square.  While working  in the Studio she discovered a unique perspective in “dry-cutting”. “She is a perfectionist”-says Artur-”she truly wants her clients to fall in love with their hair”.

• Operating as a full-service stylist, Efrain Burgos has been a well-respected member of the Studio CL family for just under a year.  With over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, specializing in Hair Styling, Re-Conditioning Treatments, as well as Men’s & Dry Cutting, Efrain brings a solid background in beauty to his position as full-service hair stylist.

 Trained at Jean Madeline, one of the nation’s most prestigious cosmetology educators, Efrain has also completed nine years of education under Goldwell. In March of 2008, Efrain was even featured in Vogue Magazine for his expertise in Blow Drying.

 A master of his craft, Efrain keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends, as they appear on the fashion scene, while maintaining close, personal relationships with his clientele.

 

• An established stylist at The Studio CL Workshop, Zaneta Leszczynska has quickly gained a reputation for her expertise in dry hair cutting and styling, men’s hair sculpting, as well as hair extensions, such as Rockstar & Infusion.

Zaneta has spent many years pursing the best training possible, and in addition to attending The PB Cosmetology Education Center in Gloucester, New Jersey, she has also expanded her education in hair coloring while studying under Top Colorist, Betty M. Sy.

 While serving as one of the Studio’s many talented stylists, Zaneta continues to dedicate herself to outstanding customer service and the latest ideals of fashion, style and overall appearance.

• Operating as a full-service stylist and colorist, Michael Ste’phen Hausman is the newest addition to the Studio Artur family.  With over seven years of experience in the beauty industry, specializing in Color Correction, Hair Styling, Dry Cutting and Keratin Protein Treatment Services, Michael brings a solid background in beauty to his position as full-service hair stylist.

A master of his craft, Michael keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends, as they appear on the fashion scene, while maintaining close, personal relationships with each-and every one of his clients.  Since joining the Studio Artur team this year, Michael continues to dedicate himself to outstanding customer service and the latest ideals of style and appearance.
